My biggest question is on Capybara actually needing to have used his double votes for his own survival. He had them sure, and used them well, but I feel like they actually have him less room to maneuver.
But I also need to thing about predatora more with the knowledge that I had attempted to get votes on lion, despite it not being true, what other people thought is actually what matters there.
So Capybara probably did actually save me there. Would have been super helpful if butterfly confirmed or at least denied having attempted to take me out. Fuck their real life problems as well! I think I'm going to actually have to b apply for real survivor, so I can actually ignore all these real life things! I still won't last long, or be nearly as much fun in person, but I can get rid of the element of forum survivor that everyone is suffering from!

So Cat ended up with the easiest route towards reaching merge. She might have attended the most tribals, but given she was in a controlling position on Aquatica, and the other 3 she attended were all just straight forward votes. This means she should have had a general tougher time come merge.
Capybara was saved on Herbivora because of getting lucky with finding a double vote and my paranoia about me being next if we did kill him off.
Kestrel's danger point was Mammalia, and the results that happened there were actually quite lame.
Tbh I'd have rathered have gone off to Aeria instead of Axolotl, Challenge 4 immunity was always going to me key for me to have won. And I assume I did increase my play level on that first swap, there's a reason me and Capybara swapped who ended up in power after we swapped out.

I think I've changed my mind as to where I want to vote about 15 times since questioning began. This means we're going to have a winner I'm happy with. Or maybe we're not. It might actually come down to closing speeches!

Weakest Link 2 confirms how bad my non-anon skills are.
I don't even blame my decision to multitask between that and Eurovision.
I had thought when I agreed to play it, this game would have been over and I could have used bonds from here though.
But back to the task at hand of trying to work out which of these three actually played the best game again. My opinion has changed yet again. So at this stage, it's probably a die roll?

I think I'm going to need to go look all of the finalists answers to questions individually.
Pity I can't also include their speeches in viewing their recent posts.

With the weakest link ending, now all three of my ID guesses have won a LSG of some description on MS.
This shouldn't effect my vote at all. I'm not even convinced my guess for Capy is correct.
But I feel like it's worth mentioning for some reason.
I think I just need to look at it all again when I get home from work tomorrow.
Well Closing Speeches will happen for me to read at that stage anyway. There's a chance they might be enough to convince me one way or the other.

Oh yay another early Sunday morning wake-up call for me. I've worked out the time for me off GMT. Which then means you're correct with the aest for Sydney.
I guess I might still be doing day shift at that point. Well not actually on Sunday, as I don't do weekends. I can go back to enjoying those when I don't have a game I've been playing active.. Because now I actually think about it, I really shouldn't be complaining about those anyway, my favourite place to get shifts only does day shifts anyway. Even if it's currently just weird putting 12 packs into 6 packs and not as fun. But unless we're able to go back to having 8 people on the line, I don't think I'll ever enjoy it as much as when I first worked there. 5 just isn't enough for maximum enjoyment.

Cat had the best closing speech.
Dammit. This means I still don't know where I want to be voting here. Before getting around to reading those I had thought my vote was between Kestrel and Capybara. But no Cat is still in the mix.
Why couldn't Eagle have just won that firemaking challenge and received my vote?

and I also feel like they all also failed to adequately answer my questions. For once I didn't actually care about me. I know where my game went wrong, I don't actually care about why you weren't actually working with me. The signs were all there, but multiple other problems just prevented action from being taken of how to actually deal with it. None of them adequately explained the actual way in which they were able to solve their problems.
Because yeah they wanted to take out me/butterfly/owl sure. That happened. But as I know I didn't want those votes to happen, how did you actually cause them to occur? Bring up what the hell happened at F13, because that actually set the tone of the game.
and yeah that also means I probably do need to vote for the biggest beneficiary of that vote.
I'm otherwise looking at where they might have ended up in danger, and both times they were able to rely on alliances they had formed to just get them through. Capybara was reliant on game powers to survive, and got through by the skin of his teeth.
Cat's only real danger point that she knows about was the Anglerfish vote. She protected herself well through people being scared to actually bring up her name. I know I tried to bring up Kestrel a few times, and was basically ignored by everyone I did so about. Which of those is better? Both convinced me they were in fact working with me still
and I feel like Seal got me way more in favour of Cat that I ever should have been. Lion is probably the person that ended up breaking me, and that also stems back to Seal's last ditch plays.
I'm just going to shut out the entire FTC now, because really it is no actual help whatsoever (the only thing I actually learned was Capybara did in fact vote me), focus on what I know about the games.

This is just like trying to decide which of them I wanted to vote out at F8. But this time I actually have to decide. (and it's Capybara there instead of Eagle as a choice).
This just shows how little power I actually had in this game.
I probably had some in Herbivora? and then it all just died while trying to connect my various alliances all together, and they forced me into choosing a side.

So i just wrote out 5 paragraphs into my voting thread trying to convince myself that yes I was going to vote for Kestrel here, and then I just dumbfounded myself into still not knowing that it is the correct choice.
I know I found out a reason for discounting Capybara there, but really if I can't actually find something solid to know the difference between Kestrel and Cat and which one of them actually played it better, I'm going to have to just vote for Capybara because I at least can identify that his game was different.
I'll try again after I've eaten. Maybe try to come up with thoughts as to why it should be Cat.
The main crux I was using for Kestrel was that Seal's elimination benefited them the most, but then really it allowed Cat to play the UTR game so much better, and she capitalistised on it.
I think the only other angle I currently have towards Kestrel is that they did cast a dissenting vote on Lion when Bunny left. and I love people that do vote outside the majority when they'd rather not do that vote. But Cat did the same thing at Seal's elimination.
Why are their games so similar!?
