One thing I liked about your execution of the twist was the fact that you had that challenge where a note was sent to the living players warning them of the possibility. Because at least they know that it could happen and they were able to plan for it, and that is affecting their thought processes. I would dislike it much more if it was totally out of the blue.
But yeah it's a bad twist and its effect is probably going to be to introduce a goat into the endgame. And if the person does somehow manage to win, I don't see that being a satisfying conclusion but oh well. You live and you learn. It's nice that an MS game at least tried it. But in future, I think we try to have most returnees enter at the merge or somewhat early in the merge so at least they get to play the endgame and prove their mettle.

Also weirdly I would prefer it if two people returned since that would make there be more strategy on the Edge itself. With only one returnee, it's kind of been just targeting whoever is good at challenges. If maybe there was a final challenge and the winner of that challenge got to choose one person to bring with them into the game, I think there would be more reason to play while on the EoE

Idk why specs seeing the jury forum is bad Just take away spectator posting permissions in confessionals after someone's eliminated and obviously the jury forum itself and then there's no way they can be influenced. I feel like that's a better solution than spectators not being able to spectate.
Also edge of extinction is always a bad idea

Also edge of extinction is always a bad idea It's not about the specs influencing the jurors; it's the jurors influencing the specs I don't like. I've seen enough spec forums where people start trashing the players for their jury management because the specs have omniscience about which jurors are salty and which ones are chill, and then basically insult the player for not having the same omniscience. In addition, FTC and the reveal is a lot more exciting when it's not telegraphed how jurors are feeling about it in advance.

This conversation between Rat and Eagle really is fascinating. I'm not sure how much Rat actually believes the arguments he's making. His idea that Eagle taking out Bunny was such a terrible move never made sense to me, and he seems to have continued that line of thinking.
But I do think that the odds that Rat votes for Eagle go way, way down. I think this is a situation where Eagle would have been better off just logging off for a couple hours and not giving Rat this opportunity to pitch to him.

I guess in my mind the better way to deal with toxicity is by punishing the bad actors directly, but I understand that's easier said than done. I think it's important to recognize that most players are giving it their all and trying to play in a way they think can win utilizing their strengths. Obviously, their perception may be very flawed, but if nothing else it'll be a good learning opportunity for them. In recent orgs, I've really prioritized just getting to the end instead of having a great resume but risk getting booted too soon. I find juries very hard to predict and would much rather have a chance to make great arguments and surprise people and win than fall a few rounds short. Even if it leaves me with a slightly uphill battle at ftc.
