Hey you crazy animals, it's time for..."Catchin up with Cappy!" LIVE
And of course our beautiful host as always...Joan Sloan!Joan: Hello everyone, welcome to the season finale episode of Catchin up with Cappy! It's been quite a journey here and tonight we are going to recap some of the highlights of Cappy's journey! Let's bring out our favorite rodent!*audience applause, Capybara enters stage left* Joan: Hello Cappy my dear, congratulations once again on making the finals, how are you feeling?Cappy: Joan thank you so much, it's an honor to be here alongside some amazing competitors. Cat we've been through so much and we talked about final 3 on Aquatica and we made it! Kestrel, you were an integral part of the alliance and you definitely deserve to be here as well! I know everyone in the game fought hard and I hope tonight I can make a good case as to why I should be the winner to represent this amazing season.Joan: Alright Cappy let's talk about your journey here. You started off on Aquatica, some might have called it a rocky start for you, walk us through how that tribe went.Cappy: Aquatica was a bit of a train wreck externally but internally I think all that hardship made us bond. Those bonds were super solid and as we'll see throughout the rest of my journey, they were bonds that would mostly hold firm. The person I felt closest to on that tribe was definitely Cat. Cat and I bonded very quickly and we also formed an alliance with Leo and Axol. We pretty much dictated who went home each tribal. Things got a little shaky unfortunately when Axol was going through some personal stuff and it didn't allow for them to be as present as they wanted to be. We had to cut them that tribal and that one definitely stung a little. I was super happy to see they won the Fitness challenge though because that allowed for them to still potentially link up later, which unfortunately never happened. But yeah on Aquatica we had a solid grip on what was going on.Joan: Alright Cappy let's transition now into the first swap, you ended up on Herbivora, how did this swap go for you?Cappy: The swap to Herbivora was probably the opposite of Aquatica. The train wreck for me was more internal. I was swapped on to a tribe in the minority with Frog. Frog and I had had some conversations on Aquatica but I didn't feel as well connected with him as I did Leo and Cat. Frog was super open though and I was open with him. I even shared with him that I had an extra vote I had found from the idol hunt map. My strategy here was to try and lay low and hope that old Aeria and Terrestria would fight it out and that Frog and I would be swing votes. That quickly did not turn out to be what happened however. I heard my name being tossed around as a potential vote which is never fun. I had to rely on Frog to help turn the tide of the vote and I had to keep my composure. Fortunately the vote turned to Sloth and Sloth decided to idol out Moth. Fortunately we did not have to go to tribal again until the next swap. Ultimately on this tribe I feel like I built some solid connections with Frog as well as Snowy and Butterfly.Joan: Let's move in to the second swap, your time spent on ReptiliaCappy: Reptilia wasn't too bad of a swap for me. We had Dog on our tribe and he was an easy target for us to boot if we lost the challenge. I put all of my acorns into the other extra vote on this challenge to ensure that I would have two extra votes should the time come I really needed to use them. We lost the challenge and kicked Dog. I was feeling some pressure after that tribal. I felt like if we were to go to tribal again I would be feeling the hotseat and be seen as an easy boot. I decided before the challenge that I needed to share knowledge with Eagle one of my extra votes to try and build some trust with him. We did not have to go to tribal but it was there that I built another solid relationship.Joan: Alright folks coming up next we will hear about the merge and Cappy's pitch for winning the game. Join us again right after this!Joan: Alright welcome back everyone to Catchin up with Cappy, LIVE. Now Cappy delve into the merge for us, what was that like for you?Cappy: The merge was a hodgepodge of everyone getting together, like a highschool reunion of sorts. 13 people was definitely overwhelming for me, there were a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while (Cat and Leo, Frog, Snowy, and Butterfly for a few tribals) and a few people I had never met. It was definitely a drain and I'm not going to lie it was hard to keep up with people. I will be the first to admit I didn't always stay on top of PMs. Part of that was I ended up being busier than I had anticipated, part of that was just the sheer overwhelming amount of PMs I received. My goal here in the merge was to try and be under the radar enough to not be perceived as a threat but not too much that I was deemed as someone who could just be easily picked off. The first vote saw the casualty of Leo. This was a huge blow for me because Leo was someone I had trusted a ton. The next tribal was very scary as well. Butterfly winning saw Frog in their crosshairs. At this point I saw Butterfly as someone I couldn't work with because our values didn't really line up. This was a key point in the game. I used my double vote to save Frog from being voted out there and helped again solidify with Eagle that I was in there for the long haul.
The next vote we saw Snowy fall, which was unfortunate because they were someone I had seen as potentially working with however this was a key point. At this point my alliance of Frog, Cat, Kestrel, and Eagle out numbered the remaining Terrestria + Butterfly and we could dictate who would go home. The next vote saw us knock out Butterfly which was definitely bittersweet. The vote that followed Butterfly was probably the hardest vote of the game for me. Frog was a huge threat in the game. He was someone who was very strong socially and also had the potential to win challenges. I knew at some point Frog would need to go otherwise people would see me as Frog's puppet. This was a key vote where we decided to cut Frog. I owed Frog a lot this game, he saved my skin on Herbivora and I wouldn't be here at the end without him.
The next few votes consisted of whittling down the remaining Terrestria members. Bunny followed by Lion and then Rat. Snowy would return from the Edge but then they were eliminated again I came just short of winning the final 4 immunity challenge, I defeated probably the biggest threat to win the game in fire making and now I'm here!Joan: Thank you Cappy for that overview of your game. Well before we hand it over to the jury is there anything else you would like to add about your gameplay?Cappy: I started off this game in a strong position. I built a solid alliance initially that helped me move forward in the game. At each swap I adapted and formed new bonds to help carry me further. I may not be a social butterfly like other players but I don't think that's a bad thing. Some of my biggest allies were big threats to win the game and when the time came for them to go, they did. I also faced a of heat, especially in the last few tribals where I received votes almost every tribal. But I was able to adapt from that and survive. I got two extra votes in this game and I feel I used them really well. I won a few challenges, especially when I needed to but even if I didn't I still had laid the groundwork where I wasn't going to be eliminated. I feel I played the best game and I would like to answer any questions you all might have. Bring it on!Joan: Alright Cappy best of luck to you!*Joan turns to the Jurors* Joan: Jury, it's your turn! What questions do you have for Cappy?

Joan: Alright folks you just heard a dynamic questioning from our fabulous jurors there, lets give them a hand one more time!
*audience applauds*
Joan: Alright Cappy, time for you to sum up your gameplay, take it away!
Cappy: Thanks Joan I'm quickly just going to highlight things briefly here, I feel like a lot of the jurors have their minds made up now but here we go...
I feel I played a strong game, one that I could be proud of. I think some people may have seen me as a goat but I don't think that's accurate. I built strong alliances throughout the game and those helped me eliminate threats and protect me from threats. I obtained and utilized two extra votes that I used to help eliminate a threat and build trust with my allies.
My social game might not be considered as strong as Cat or Kestrel but I would still say it was good. I talked with people I needed to to protect myself and I was likable and reliable enough to proceed forward with my feet to the fire. My loyalty carried me throughout the game even if others loyalty to me got cut short -- which I feel was necessary for me to win.
I won several challenges and even won the final one to take Eagle who I considered one of the biggest threats to win out of the game.
I don't really think I have anything else to say without beating a dead horse. I hope you will consider voting for me to be the winner of this season!
Joan: Alright Cappy well said!
*Joan turns to face the camera*
Joan: Up next, the jurors vote for our winner! Then we will go ahead and reveal our winner and the rest of the cast as we dive in and discuss the highlights of the season. Stay with us!
