The Eagle swoops in, landing so fast that it almost crashes into the ground. As it collects itself, it is clearly short of breath.
"Mission Control? Mission Control, come in!"
It pulls out a small black box, with a screen. A map is visible with a small red dot.
"I was checking through the equipment Q provided me, which I had not done since the beginning of the Mission. Q is quite a clever bird, but his inventions are... let us say, often more of a hindrance than a help. I have not generally used them since that disaster with the Pen in Mozambique."
"However, I found among them a simple, old-fashioned GPS tracker, which to the best of my knowledge had no dangerous modifications. I surreptitiously attached it to the body of the Owl upon the results of the round, as I know this must be removed by ALPHA-SEVEN so perhaps would provide a clue as to where their base is located. But kijk!"
It zooms in on the red dot on the GPS. As it zooms in closer, it is evident the dot is moving - not purposeful movement in a specific direction, just drawing a small circle over and over. The Eagle looks up, its usually stern face visibly excited. "These are not the movements of transportation. These are the movements of someone pacing, likely in a cell from the small circumference and repetitive nature."
"Do you not see? They are alive! And if one is alive, perhaps all are alive!"

Once again, you feel as though the Bitter Poisonpie is trying to communicate with you. How strange.
What was the highlight of the mission so far? What was the worst moment of the mission so far? Which relationships are you putting the most effort into lately?

The Eagle eyes the mushroom, trying to figure out how these words are arriving in its head. Information Retrieval have been doing strange things indeed this mission."The highlight... Well, if we are talking of a strategic moment, I feel it would have to be the uprising against the Butterfly's attempt to kill the Frog. Everything lined up perfectly, from the Capybara being present with the double vote, to the Butterfly selecting me as someone they believed would hit the Frog, to the Hedgehog giving me a line I could use as an excuse by throwing my name out. It was my first real move, and I think it significantly altered the course of the game." "If we are not talking of a strategic moment..." It shuffles a little, looking at the ground."...then just the interactions with Kestrel as a whole. They are a delight to speak with, in every respect, and mirror my style of writing when talking to me. Every time I see a new message, I find myself hoping it is from them. It reached the point where they asked to see my diagram of connections, and I simply provided it, because I trust them implicitly and want to go the distance with them." *Clinks fish with eagle* "To being the only sane birds" It coughs, and pauses."Uh, worst moment, yes. Worst moment was probably the Axolotl volunteering to be eliminated on Carnivora, saving the Dog from our plans for the second time in a row. A close second was realising that I had misread the Fishing fitness challenge, as this should have been my area of expertise, but it was counterbalanced by our victory in the corresponding immunity challenge." It thinks to itself."I feel my relationship with the Butterfly is essentially gone, so it is a good thing the plan is to eliminate them this round. I have been hoping to speak more with the Rat and the Bunny, but the Rat is barely present, and the Bunny only talks about strategy, and will not reciprocate the information sharing in what is supposed to be an information sharing alliance. I give them details, and their response is essentially nothing of value. I am unsure as to whether this is because they are genuinely not hearing anything else, but I suspect it is moreso because they do not trust me. My conversations with the Lion seem reasonable, but the fact that we are ending up on opposite sides of things is hurting that, I think. And finally in the group I am not putting enough effort into, the Cat responds with one or two liners, and is difficult to get a conversation started with." "I talk to the Kestrel whenever I can, because I enjoy the Kestrel greatly. I also feel as though my relationship with the Frog has blossomed of late, and I am talking a great deal there, although primarily about strategy. And finally, the Capybara. Oh Capybara. It is blatantly obvious that going the distance with them would be a bad idea, as I believe people view him as a vote in my pocket and so my threat level is higher for his being here, but... there is something incredibly endearing about the way he is approaching this game and the earnestness of it. As an agent, one must have a heart of stone, but somehow he is getting to it."

It reached the point where they asked to see my diagram of connections, and I simply provided it, because I trust them implicitly and want to go the distance with them." Did I miss this in a previous mission report? Somehow wondered the Bitter Poisonpie.

The Eagle preens its feathers.
"Today has been somewhat chaotic, not in the game sense, but in the sense that the Eagle who lives in the nest adjacent to mine invited some other Eagles around and I was involved in the catering. To an Eagle who has been on missions almost continuously for the last year, and so has had little contact with people I do not know, it was rather a stressful change of pace."
"In any case, the game itself. It was easy to pitch the Butterfly to the Frog, as they have been at odds before, and the Kestrel was willing to go for the Butterfly which made them the easiest vote. The Rat pitched the Frog as the alternative vote, and of course the Lion, Butterfly and Bunny tried to push that. I was reasonably open with the Lion about my thought process, and came down on the side of voting out the Butterfly, as I considered them to be further removed from me and the Frog to be an important shield for me."
"The Rat eventually agreed to vote the Butterfly also, and the Bunny and I had a long discussion in which we agreed it was best we remained on opposite sides of the vote and then worked to keep one another safe. Which means the only burned player is the Lion, and I think they do not consider me an enemy even with that, as I was open with them about my reasoning. Overall, a good round for the Eagle."
