Wow, Eagle is guaranteeing it won't win immunity so Rat can be immune. I would rather just see people play the challenge than do this, but of course that's a part of the meta game of having a smaller challenge within the wider game. In actual Survivor one can always be the person that pisses off their allies by not bringing them on a reward or something... Eagle trying not to be the animal that loses allies by killing them in one challenge game. I think you kind of have to weigh whether the prey out there is someone that will take it personally or will get that it's kind of the point of the challenge. Same kind of thing with bringing the ally on a reward... will they "get" that you're already with them when you leave them behind? Some players would! I have no problem with people making their alliances out in the open thanks to this challenge. As for reward challenges, I will never get cast on the show because of medical issues but if I was on the show I would tell my ally "I will never pick you for the reward if I win, and if you win I don't want you to pick me." That way you have an ear in both groups, your relationship flies under the radar, and you have less personal bullshit to deal with.

Oh man, I just realized that Eagle telling Rat "I am willing to give up immunity so you have it" will also be telling Butterfly "I would rather Rat be immune than both of us".

no, eagle can win. just needs to eat other animals. it plans on eating the crow next round. He needs to eat twice and it seems very unlikely he can win if just leaving the mallard out there. One unintended(?) consequence of this though is that all the other prey that gets safety in numbers is screwed if Rat-Mallard just stays in the sky forever, LOL. Big boost to the crocodile and lion?? especially if one of them snacks on the crow this round!

Even if it eats the crow next round, it will have to eat someone in the sky in rounds 3 or 4. The only other animal that can visit the sky is the crocodile bird, which has no reason to go there.

Oof I was reading the "starve for 2 rounds" lose condition as "starve for 2 rounds in a row." So he's basically using up his one and only free starvation round right now??

i think this is not a good round to willingly give up immunity. too many people could potentially be immune, it's quite dangerous

i always thought the cooperative survivors were pretty good animals, but without communication outside of rooms that's much less true

snake still seems like trash to me, not only is your wincon very hard but you have very little agency to accomplish it yourself

i feel like they should have another option or something, like "trick 2 predators into eating you"

snake still seems like trash to me, not only is your wincon very hard but you have very little agency to accomplish it yourself Snake has to be a snake and sell out what the heard in their previous rooms, which prey animals might be going where, and must stop other animals from trying to eat they themself at all costs. Kind of a snake game.

i think the players will figure out that eagle must have essentially thrown to let rat win and i don't think that's going to be worth it in the long run
