I know that was part of challenge 5 and is irreverent here, but I just did it for timing purposes. and also so I can use it to determine the numbers of the cryptic crossword clues I would like to receive. Frog is in row 2. and there was a total of 14 animals to find there. Burrows 2 and 14 please

Dang those don't appear to be cryptic clues I'm able to understand straight away. Guess it's time to consult that Wikipedia page.

I even had an advantage of cryptic crosswords being more popular over here? I'm probably reading Wikipedia too thoroughly!
Ape (clue) brings together (connection) endless violence (first part of word?) Sickness (middle?) Mostly in need something at the end though, is it a three partner?
To bother one (clue) who (indicator?) Awards broaches (answer in this part somewhere).

Further scrolling. Sickness might end up in the middle of the endless violence.
Endless meaning the violence synonym is cut short

Okay awarding broaches now. I feel like to bother could actually mean anagram. Broaches then becomes the clue. So the anagram therefore would be in "one who awards"

I think that style might be my most disliked cryptic clues, and I don't like any of them.
Both-er? Is this somehow related to a jury Prize. Brooches are a type of jewellery normally, is there a thing as a brother's orchard (bro oche) or am I just reaching

So I guess to both-er is meaning that the awards are shared. There are two winners of the brooch. Marriage? 6 letters

Joints is my best guess atm
I don't think I like it though, so I'll continue trying to break it apart.
To both-er. One who awards brooches. Multiple. Judges?
Yeah actually that does seem like it will fit.
