So, cryptic crosswords. I can do normal crosswords just fine. Cryptic crosswords, not so much. I'll have to look up stuff about them before I start trying to solve this (assuming that's allowed?).
I think it was Haschel and DeasVail who had a cryptic crosswords connection in Barely Survivor? Obviously Haschel is one of the mods here, but hopefully we have DV or someone else on our tribe who's good at these.
As for the numbers, let's go with Burrows 4 and 23.

You got both of them right! For getting Ermine, you have your choice between 10 points for your tribe or 10 acorns. For getting Chipmunk, you have a choice between 5 points for your tribe of 5 acorns.
