I'm going to have to disagree with that just because you wouldn't have let Kestrel reach the end if it were true. They were going through a hard time so you weren't going to even consider anything outside of what they wanted at F5 just because you felt bad for them.

The Eagle shakes its head.
"Kestrel had to win FIC to end up in a final tribal alongside me. In any other combination, we would have made fire against one another. I felt that Kestrel winning FIC was enough of a long shot that it was extremely unlikely we ended up at FTC alongside one another, which is exactly what I needed, and if it was on firemaking then they would not have been burned (ha) on the way out."
"I also *did* try to make a move against Kestrel at Final Five, although it was not an overt one. I told the Capybara that I was taking the Kestrel should I win FIC. In my mind, there was a good chance that would have set the Capybara to try to take out Kestrel with yourself and Cat while my wings were kept clean. But their response was that my relationship with the Kestrel was the same as theirs with the Cat, so they understood it."
"I am not sure what you wanted me to do outside of this. You were pushing me to eliminate Cat, not Kestrel. And when I said I did not want to petition the Kestrel any further should they return, I meant that they had made up their mind and there was no point irritating them by carrying on about it; although I was never strongly petitioning them in the first place because I would have ranked yourself between the Kestrel and Cat in terms of FTC threat level."

A move relying on someone to lose a challenge didn't exactly pan out huh? Meanwhile, we could have easily voted out one of the two actual threats and you would have been in a better position because I was never going to vote you out and always going to go for whichever of Kestrel or Cat survived. Your warning to Capy wasn't going to change anything because Capy was always going to put you and kestrel against each other (or you and me if Kestrel had left somehow). Capy made the choice a long time ago they were going to give everything they had to Cat and there wasn't any amount of logic or threats that would change that.
Kestrel was kept at F5 and that was a mistake. Sure, I was pushing Cat and maybe I should have pushed Kestrel instead. Not sure the results would have changed much but my mistakes are mine and your mistakes are thinking you should take either of Cat/Kestrel to FTC outside of Me/Capy which was most certainly your best shot. "Unknown lol" I laugh every time you say that to me as if a returnee has ever had a chance in one of these games. Let alone me who has had terrible plays and logic all game. It's like I'm playing an altogether different game and didn't get told until I was eliminated.

To add on briefly, Owl came back into the game at 5 alive Usually it'd take a hell of a lot for a returnee to actually win the game, they'd need to really show that they deserved it in the short time that they were back Final 5 is no where near enough time to do that. I doubt anyone would've voted for Owl (No offence) So I don't understand why Owl was taken out at Final 5...it was the very last time anyone had to fully take out another player and all 4 of you wasted it imo

The Eagle shrugs.
"I think you forget that we had no knowledge of what had occurred here. Ozzy would have won South Pacific had he made the end purely because he was able to talk to all the jurors on the way out. Chris did win EoE for exactly the same reason. Being able to chill and be there for the people who are venting after just having been eliminated is a big advantage on the Jury front."
"Perhaps everyone would not have allowed that to be part of their judgement, but that was only known to you all and the Owl, not to us. At the end of the day, the four of us were happy to go to the end as the four of us initially - when one is offered to exchange something one is happy with for a Mystery Box, is the Mystery Box the correct choice?"

I mean... this isn't survivor. I'm not even sure how comparable this game is to other MS games. I came in and told you the truth about where the Jury's head was at. It's also why I was so confident I wouldn't get voted out because like... who votes out the easy FTC target?
I'm just surprised you weren't aware that was how things are. I mean... maybe if it was Rat or someone who had a strong influence in the game. But yeah, I'd vote out the threat every time, not a redemption player just because they have gotten to talk with the jury for the past 4 rounds.
