The Eagle raises an eyebrow, and produces a notebook from under its wing, flipping through it quickly.
"This 'Tortor' of which you speak... Could you describe to me what they looked like? I have reports of a Tortoise disappearing in one of these kidnapping waves not a great deal of time ago."

It quickly realises it should probably give a brief update on the mission.
"I believe that there are already players pushing Frog and players pushing Hedgehog, in rather subtle ways. This Hedgehog/Lion/Butterfly/Frog alliance which was supposedly betrayed by the Frog seems to be the source of the anti-Frog sentiment, as it is mostly these three who are expressing their distrust of the Frog. The Hedgehog on the other hand somewhat brought their own name to the table, by confronting the Cat, the Frog, and the Capybara in a rather angry manner after the results last round."
"I had been talking to the Frog about how the two of us must watch out for one another, as we are both relatively 'big' players in the sense of personalities. I do not think it is entirely necessary for me to keep him in this game, but I suspect my chances at reaching the end improve if I do, and either way if I can use this reasoning to prevent him coming after me anytime soon then I think it is worth doing. He recently pitched the idea of creating a Big Threats Trio, of himself, myself, and the Rat."
It tilts its head.
"This leaves me a little confused. I was not under the impression that the Rat was a big threat; he seems decently well connected but somewhat under the radar, at least from my perspective. However, after I mentioned this proposed alliance to the Rat, I think he now believes that he is seen as one of the big threats of the game. I do not think I will give my thoughts on that, as if he perceives himself to be seen as threatening, then he should want to keep me around for the long run."
"He seems in favour of accepting the alliance offer, although he does not trust the Frog very much. I think I would agree, as turning the Frog down would just sour him on both of us, but I suspect we may have to be ready to ditch the Frog if the tide is against him. To overtly protect him may be placing a target on our backs."

"Well then." "It would appear I have been placed on the tribe without any of my alliance. Thankfully, I am also on the ANGRY TRIBE, as shown by the red lines. I suppose we will see what comes of this."

The Eagle thinks to itself.
"I think the anger present here will at least keep the vote away from me, but it will be difficult to come out of this without upsetting anyone at all. I think every single player on this tribe expects me to vote with them."
"The Capybara's double vote could be a factor here, and gives a chance to snipe someone in a rather powerful alliance. But this is probably the way I come out of the tribal with the most burned bridges."

The Eagle makes a note of this.
"The Hare also? This is another animal on my list. Interesting..."

The Eagle chuckles a little.
"I just realised that every single other player on this tribe was Herbivora. I am glad indeed that they were such a dysfunctional arrangement of creatures."
"As expected, it will be Frog versus Hedgehog, and both sides expect my vote. I am unsure exactly how to handle this. I would much prefer to eliminate the Hedgehog, as they are in a strong alliance and the Frog will continue to be a target anyway, but to do so with a 4-3 vote would be alienating two of the more socially active players in this tribe, in Lion and Butterfly."
"I am going to discuss the situation with Lion, and see if we can reach some kind of agreement. Perhaps this is a mistake, but I think it is less of a mistake than a blindside would be."

The earpiece crackles once again."Agent Fish, it is my impression that the Frog intends to pretend that his betrayals of last round did not occur, or at least that we know nothing of them. I have mentioned your name as an option to him, along with Capybara's, to ease any concerns he might have. I will let you know how he responds to those choices. I would not want him to tell you without context."
The Eagle untucks a chalkboard from under its wing, setting it up before the spectators.
"Come, friends! Let me teach you a quick lesson about how to definitely bring the Eagle to your side."
"The first step is to throw the Eagle's name out. This is absolutely crucial. An Eagle appreciates nothing more than recognition, and throwing a name out will fufil that need for exposure. For extra credit, ensure you throw the Eagle's name out to a player known to make big moves, who you clearly suspect to have an idol."
"The second step is to do this without consulting the Eagle first. Eagles adore surprises, and to talk to the Eagle in advance about something like this would be ruining said surprise. After all, we already know all Eagles adore this kind of thing, so there is no need to ask about it."
"The third step is to, once you have thrown the Eagle's name out, then inform the Eagle, and indicate that your reasoning for doing so is because otherwise someone else would have told the Eagle first, and that they may make it reflect badly on you. The Eagle will appreciate your concern for them seeing the story from the correct point of view."
"This concludes today's lesson."

It tucks the chalkboard away.
"This has given me the ammunition I need to make my preference clear to the Lion and the Butterfly without annoying them, I think. This is a very good reason for me to be dubious about the Hedgehog's intentions."

"Neither animal is biting, so this will be a 4-3. However, I think I have enough reasoning that they will be less angry at me after said result."
The Eagle pauses.
"A slight issue is that the Capybara wishes to vote for the Lion, because the Hedgehog will be the idol target if there is one. I do not have such an excuse for voting the Lion, and were I to do that, I think I would for certain face the wrath of the Hedgehog and Butterfly both afterward. I do not really think an idol would be used here, so I will discuss this further with the Frog and Capybara."
"I am also unsure that eliminating the Lion would be good for my game. He falls into a similar category of player that I do, I think, in that he is well-liked and that fact is quite obvious. That is the kind of player I hope is still around toward the endgame, because otherwise I think I become quite an obvious target in the late stage and will need to win immunities."
