That optimistic feeling I had? Gone now, very gone now.
All the names I've heard are freaking terrible. Me, Snowy, and Seal! Am I that bad that not only am I an easy target but the people I like are easy targets too? Or did I get caught playing too many sides? Ugh.
The old "Blothat?" alliance (me, bunny, lion, rat) seems set on voting Seal, especially Lion. Publicly speaking out against that would be pretty bad I think; I'd much rather it be someone like Eagle or Kestrel who I just haven't built anything with yet.
How do I know my name is out there? Interestingly, I heard it from the man pushing it himself: Frog. To put it bluntly I fucked up horribly messaging him, leaving a message unreplied to for more than a day. Obviously that made Frog suspicious of me, and so he floated my name as an inactivity vote. Lion told me that Frog was worrying about me, so I immediately went to apologize for my mistakes. This is twice now that Frog has been against me, yet because it's also the second time he's owned up to it and explained his reasons, I actually feel like I trust him more now. Call me insane.
I can vote Seal; I'd stay good with most of the players, but probably lose some trust with Cat (who I want to work with). This is the option I think I'll be taking.
I could vote Snowy, my sworn final-three mate, and whom I share everything with and vice-versa. How about no?
Last option would be make a move to get someone big out. Tempting option, but risky and I don't think the right thing to do so early in the merge. I honestly believe I could get enough people to vote out, say, Lion here, but I doubt that it's something that would actually help me, no matter how much it feels like I'm his minion right now. Furthermore, I'd like to believe that I'm not the first choice to get booted here, so trying this means risking it backfiring and sending me home early.
