Do other games also help? UtE - don't trust JennB. (This gave me a lot of paranoia earlier when axolotl went out of action) Mario Endurance? Yeah I got nothing. Ete. Laugh more KSS. No chance replacement. Eon. Bad timing. KyE. I've definitely not gone the way of that game. Non-anons just don't work for me. Whatever other games I've forgotten, I clearly didn't learn from them.

How did I just spend over an hour working on two clues?
I'm guessing this was originally going to be do a cryptic crossword with your tribe, but I can see now why it's been changed to this aspect, unless you always do cryptic stuff, it takes a long time to solve.

And honestly? I think both actually jumped out at me right at the start when I worked out where the actual clue was sitting. I spent a lot of time decrypting when the answer was always right in front of me. But at least I know they're not plausibly wrong.

Nice overthinking froggy!
3 acorns isn't much of a bribe, I was going to take one of the bribes, but apparently I got one wrong. and it's not worth taking 3 acorns. Even if they would put me to 69.

Leopard seal is extremely good. If you manage to stick with them, at least someone will know if they found an idol. They're someone I don't want finding an idol due to how good they are This is a very good quote to look at in the context of the last tribal council, and the implications it might have made to it I have just remembered I said it while we were still awaiting results. Like Sloth reading that with the knowledge he found an idol in front of Seal, how would you not read that as "okay Frog knows".

Meanwhile in my head, it the suggestion I was implying was "I like Seal, please help me stab him later".

well I guess I had fun failing at solving my cryptic clues, because I wanted another go at explaining the others.
1 Not a dog at reversed flow (4) "not a dog" - clue; reversed - flipped next word = wolf 2 Ape brings together endless violence and sickness with a little something at the end (7) "ape" = clue; endless violence - gore, sickness - ill, a little something - a = Gorilla 3 Tribe swapped with a chunk taken out (4) "chunk" biter 4 A stoat within a farmer/miner. (6) somehow this gets to weasel? no okay ermine, yeah that's not a word I know (from within farmer/miner), I'd have guessed weasel wrongly and not understood 5 Heartless relative and diner has a long tongue (8) aunt doesn't care about you - ant with diner being eater, okay. 6 Bravely resting in bed, pumping blood (9) lionheart is a no from me. I think this needs a "sounds like" type thing for the resting in bed clue 7 Odd Fran nags, with vicious protrusion (4) that says to remove the even letters from "Fran nags" 8 We hear they saw the female with many legs (6) Spied Her. 9 A gruffly spoken dog breed (5) double meaning clues 10 The other end of selling goods missing two heads (4) lioo? Ooil? ...Other end being the clue for the tail, not really sure how the missing two heads removes the last two letters of tailor though. 11 Initially coming over water, it's a seal (3) initials from "coming over water" 12 Sounds like "lofty" note is not applicable, I'm laughing (5) lofty is higher plus N/A. not sure how "I'm Laughing" works as a ordinary clue for hyena though 13 Playground equipment can fly when shuffled (5)name a playground piece (swings, but I remember this answer), anagram it, something things that fly tend to have. 14 To bother one who awards brooches? (6) Badge-r 15 Mark on the skin somewhere inside my old home (4) nah I don't like this one, would feel better if the spot o nthe skin was around rather than inside my old home. 16 By mixing the initial barbiturates, you can get to hopping (6) anagram the first 6 letters of barbiturates = rabbit 17 Sounds like fur hopping around (4) I can confirm that I only see Hare on this one, but I don't actually see the logic about why I can easily see that it equals Hair.... oh right I just did through using the wrong word. 18 Backwards ribbon grass ambles in the forest (4) ssrag nobbir, and ambles means doing something with it, unsure what. unless it was tserofeht I need backwards to amble on Deer was the answer, so actually working backwards, ribbon grass = reeds. 19 Trotter aloft, what a pest (8) 20 It sounds like worship gets eaten (4) pray food, 21 Spooner sees a set of two identical wide-brimmed hats (5,4) i forgot what the spooner means. 22 Iron straight mark of a cat (6) 23 Little rodent snacking with someone who sounds like they're not a friar (8) fat rats. 24 They say the headless young lady swims in that river (5) girl - irl. synonym for swims please? 25 It's down, switched around, flying at night (3) not sure where the L comes from here. Stop not being cryptic frog! it's down = low!
Complete luck of the draw as to which ones you choose if they can be solved. I'd have much rathered this be a group tribe challenge.
Because right now I really want to complain about challenges in tribe stages where we're not allowed to talk to one another. Individual challenges making up points etc is fine, but allow discussion so that it will still feel like a team game!

Cards are in my court, hah! (I was going to send this image to Hedgehog, but I forgot about it while typing the message, and now I don't want to waste all the effort I took of getting it, because I was not disabling my adblocker for that webpage to stay loaded. So turns out I do actually still really like Sloth. This is going to be problem, because I'm telling people that yyeah we just vote them again, sure why not? and I'm also going to betray the Lion/HedgeHog/Frog/Butterfly alliance that is forming at some stage, because really I am not actually that into it. I am unable to find myself in a state where I feel I can trust Butterfly. I feel like maybe targetting mongoose would have to be the way to go, as that is the conversation that I feel most likely that I'm lying when I say I like him.

I really hope we can win challenge 7. Based on the current time these are taking, I'll be stuck between two day shifts at the following TC.
Challenge 6 isn't as important to me, for at least I'll be around tomorrow to talk.
Well unless I get called into work, but I'm safe from the one that called me in on Friday.
But I guess there was stuff I was going to be doing on Friday I didn't get done. How am I meant to describe what my haircut was like if I didn't actually get it cut? So hard to not complain that it was in fact still too long for my tastes.

Well time to try and connect my thoughts why I wait for other people to come online (for me to then go to bed soon after). I think this list is probably the current order I'm most likely to attempt to come to the aid of should their names start circling. I don't know where I'd draw the line yet.
Lion: Current Walling Buddy. I don't think we really need to we doing the walls, but they're going to remain. It probably means we're talking less about the game than we should be Hedgehog: I'm still finding the addition of songs confusing, and believe she is likely just sending the same set of them to everyone, so will proceed with ignoring them unless they're just interesting songs. Very likable character. Have built trust by being open to discussing anything at all. Capybara: They have a double vote. Conversations are usually dull. Full trust from Aquatica. Need to watch that I don't start treating them like a goat. (My goat was Anglerfish, no replacing them!) Snowy Owl: Conversations have really picked up lately. Rising Star of the tribe. Three-toed Sloth: An early favourite of mine on first impressions, died back after idol knowledge shenanigans, has returned to full strength, and the relationship is likely to continue rising the longer we're able to avoid tribal. Butterfly: Big drop. Conversations feel very generic, I think I'm supposed to be in an alliance with them, feel like they're running along coattails with the proposal. Mongoose: 100 word limit has it's drawbacks. I don't feel like we got past going after each others allies last tribal council.

Moth likely would have been second on the list if they were still in the game.
I'd probably place Leopard Seal between Hedgehog & Capybara, Axolotl under Capybara and Cat around Sloth level.

Carnivora needs to sit one member out. Apologies for not saying this sooner. Both Bunny and Leopard Seal sat out of this challenge. I'm glad the other tribe turns out they also can't count. But why would you actually tell us this? Flip a coin as to which one just failed the cryptic clues. Because now in reading this and I'm thinking wait maybe I should just take the acorns, they're a player short! It's effecting my thought process. 3 acorns still isn't worth it though.

Moth got some credit for that push on Sloth and I'm willing to bet thats why Sloth used the idol to get him out of all people. Ah yes, the make other people do your dirty work tactic. Got to remember that the plan is to just pull all the strings from behind the scenes.

Hmmm, the supposed idol grab location of A3 has additional text under the map when it occurred, other than the first one, no other updates have included that information. Interesting point of fact.
I guess I'll have to recheck the messages to confirm when Capybara got a double vote from the map though.
and Sloth also claimed to find acorns at one point.
Today is going to be weird not having to discuss voting options at all.

19 Trotter aloft, what a pest (8) 21 Spooner sees a set of two identical wide-brimmed hats (5,4) i forgot what the spooner means. 22 Iron straight mark of a cat (6) 24 They say the headless young lady swims in that river (5) girl - irl. synonym for swims please? okay worked out the logic behind the rest of these. a trotter is a horse, aloft is to fly. horsefly spooner saw a pair of bowlers. changing the things gives pear and boler (which isn't a word but whatever) and swapping to produce polar bear iron's symbol is Fe, a straight makr is a line daughter.
