Was Snow Owl the one who said someone couldn't be trusted because they knew Faith Spotted Eagle, and no one could possibly know that without cheating?
I think it's clear that there wasn't a ton of cheating on the trivia given how poorly some people did, but there probably was some. I think they're right to be cynical about that. It's easy to partially know something and look it up and then convince your brain that you always knew it. Most people who cheat don't cheat a lot, just a little bit where they can feel like they aren't drastically changing their ability. It's easy to find ways to rationalize it for yourself. I'm almost 100% certain it happened.

I think people generally don't cheat. I think we're basically a community that respect each other and the honor system. But, it's good to have some uncheatable challenges, particularly in important spots like FIC, just in case.

I think good, respectable people cheat all of the time, especially when the stakes are high and the cheating is as easy as a simple Google search. Maybe most people don't, but I do think it happens and probably did happen on this last challenge.

The stakes aren't high in early tribal challenges of a survivor game with no prize I might suggest that doing so would in fact say something about the quality of such a person's character, fwiw.

I knew Faith Spotted Eagle, that's not an impossibly hard question if you were invested in what was happening in 2016. On the flip side I had never even heard of the Geruda until seeing the answers posted!

IDK. Maybe I take games more seriously than most people, as they're important to me and form part of my identity, but I don't think I've cheated at anything since I was like 10.

The other side of this coin is that with low stakes and nothing of real value on the line it's easier for those wavering on the edge to rationalize to themselves whatever they decide to do

Someone give me the tl;dr I've been wildly MIA lately. Can I echo this request while also saying, with all respect and appreciation, that I do not know that I will get the chance to listen to the podcast. I just have way more opportunity to read things than I do to listen to anything. I'm asking because once you have some background it's way easier to keep up and follow the game, while trying to jump in without context can leave you lost. Here's what I've got: There's a twist where people compete in a secondary challenge, and then, although two tribes vote players out, the one with the better twist score gets sent to the third tribe, while the lower score player is eliminated. Shark went out of the game completely, and self-voted on their way. That may have been strategic because they knew they were going but had a chance to survive from the twist, and didn't want to alienate anyone. Dog missed some time and got kicked but was shipped to the third tribe. Eagle has a gimmick. Am I missing anything? Like, big alliances or cool players?

Dog missed some time and got kicked but was shipped to the third tribe. Am I missing anything? In terms of the current tribe dynamics... Grizzly and Genet are on the bottom of Land for inactivity, but Dog just joined so it's unclear where he will fall. However he seems to have done a better job integrating than either of them, so they are likely to go should Land lose. Anglerfish is on the bottom of Water, but he does have an alliance with Frog, so I suspect that tribe will try to figure out how to vote out Anglerfish without alienating Frog. Axolotl and Leopard Seal are each others number ones and they seem to be on the top of this tribe. Air is probably the most complex tribe because everyone left is active, but Elephant and Chickadee seem to be on the bottom. However, they just formed an alliance with one another and both also have good relationships with Kestrel, who has some amount of influence, so it's possible something else could happen. In particular, I could see Moth playing themselves out of the game or maybe Eagle getting targeted for their posting gimmick. Or even something else, this is definitely the tribe with the most going on imo

That's the gist.
Aquatica was looking a little messy but with Axolotl kind of at the top as friends with everyone, Frog and Anglerfish are close but Anglerfish isn't quite with anyone else so he was in a dangerous position, but Shark didn't show up for a day and got booted for it. Flapjack Octopus isn't quite as connected, Leopard Seal, Axolotl, Cat, and Capybara are closer to the top and I believe have a group chat/alliance going.
Terrestria is a little straight forward with Rat as everyone's friend, Lion and bunny towards the top, then kind of sloth and hedgehog, then Mongoose with his self-imposed PR of 100 words or less. Grizzly and Genet are at the bottom of the tribe, Genet for not always being around and Grizzly for being green (his first PM to most people on the tribe was asking for alliance with them). It's unclear who would have gone home with Lion-Genet connection and a Rat-Grizzly connection.
Aeria is interesting because it's not really clear. I think Kestrel and Moth are on top of the tribe, Elephant and Chikadee are towards the bottom, but it's fluctuated. Dog was ultimately below them in the pecking order due to his brusque and brief PM style. Butterfly is somewhere towards the top, Snow Owl towards the middle, and Eagle is a mystery due to their gimmick of rping as an eagle/spy.
Several players have found acorns, which do ?????. There was opportunity to get acorns for attempting harder questions in the trivia themed immunity challenge, and some players opted to go for acorns. There is also and Idol Hunt, which is a map with prizes hidden on it, including an immunity idol. No one found any prizes in round 1, though that changes in round 2...(omg spoiler!)

I think Moth is on the top for now, but I also think a lot of people kinda dislike them and they just suggested to Chickadee that maybe Chickadee should do well on the fitness challenge so that they can all vote Chickadee out which is...something, especially when they haven't even yet lost the challenge. So I could definitely see their position crumbling.
