JUST FOR THE HELLEPHANT!
Wait, wrong punchline.

Okay, I am using that punchline. I don't know what for, but I will FIND IT. That's freaking hilarious.
Oh, and as far as WHAT elephants eat, I am definitely breaking the rules. I had chicken....... Don't tell the birds in my tribe. 😬
Alright, and now for those questions. I promise I'm working on them!

1) By now you've hopefully had a chance to meet with and talk to most if not all of your tribemates. Who stands out among the rest? Is there somebody who makes you laugh the most? Are you feeling strategic bonds forming? Is there anyone you must drop in the nearest firepit? I've really enjoyed taking the time to get to know my tribemates. I was 112% right about Kestrel. We are hitting it off so well. Like, they ask amazing, thoughtful questions, and it's so natural to talk to them. I reached two pages of PMs with them after the first couple of hours of gameplay, and I wasn't even half that far with most of the others... I'm starting to reach that point with Butterfly. We're basically just fangirling over DC, Marvel, and Doctor Who, and I am HERE FOR IT. I haven't bonded very much with Dog. They have so little to say compared to everybody else--like two sentences. And I may or may not have offended them by confusing their favorite Korean gameshow for a silly Japanese gameshow..... Oh! And Eagle told me that Dog has a jetpack so they can fly, but Dog hasn't mentioned that to me at all, and I don't know if that was just Eagle being creative (which checks out because of their sophisticated, stylized writing, which is entertaining so far) or if Dog is holding back. Like, do they not want to share with me? They completely ignored my comment about the two of us being the only wing-less creatures, and how we could fly if we want to. Darn it, I want a jetpack... I should ask them about that... Anyway, before I write a novel (or a sequel to the novel I've already written), I am not sure about Chickadee yet. Our first few replies back and forth were kind of generic, and again, their lack of capital letters bugs me, but I did wake up to a very positive, sweet compliment from them... and then we bonded over Finding Nemo, music, and food. So we'll see. But I'm keeping my eye out on them. 2) Have you gotten a chance to check out what the game has to offer so far in terms of twists and mechanics and setup? How are you feeling about what you've seen? Got any suspicions of what could be in store for you? I'm, uh, still in the beginning stages of all that. I'm *excited* but mostly just taking it one day at a time. I got a little overwhelmed when I couldn't figure out some technological stuff on my own, but that's what you mods are for! You've got my back.......... For now. 3) If you had to describe your gameplay style as a weather phenomenon or natural disaster, which would you be and why? Ooooo, I love this question. I'm going to go with volcanic eruption. Like, for the most part, I'm all "Netflix and chill", but if I'm under too much pressure, WATCH OUT! People have also told me that they want to see me angry since I've never gotten angry around them before (cuz, you know, they don't LIVE with me), and come on, who hasn't wanted to go see a volcano? Lava is cool, man! I mean, not physically. No touchy. Another reason is that volcanoes help form islands, and I like the idea of creating life or being a part of growth on this planet. That's just awesome. 4) Everyone comes into a game with different skills or hopes and goals. What are some of yours? What are you looking to achieve? What skills are you bringing to the table? I'm obviously very good at fangirling. And connecting with people in general, I think, as long as we can find some common ground or come up with some cool icebreakers together. I'm empathetic as HELL and loyal, so I'd make a good ally. I know that it's not all about making friends (oh, my poor Hufflepuff heart), and that even the best of allies might have to betray each other in the end. That's how these types of things work. But I guess... my goal is to still enjoy the ride. And maybe to bring out my more villainous side? I've always wanted to play the bad guy... But I'll probably end up feeling bad about it. So basically, I guess, my goal is to NOT be the first voted off. Can I make it all the way to the end? I don't know. That would be freaking amazing. But again, I'm taking this a day at a time. I just want as many days as I can possibly get. 5) Why did you pick the animal you did? Are you hoping to channel anything from them? What other animal(or spectator) choices do you really enjoy? I like that elephants are both gentle and capable of mass destruction. They're also incredibly loyal, which resonates with me. I enjoyed seeing that we have an axolotl, bunny, hedgehog, kitten, frog, moth, and leopard seal. Did I just choose all of he ones with adorable photos? Mayyyyybe. But seriously, I'm impressed at some of the choices. They were very creative!

does anyone make your heart go pitter patter?

I don't think my heart goes pitter patter as much as it squeaks with joy from interacting with Kestrel and Butterfly. I'm getting there with Snowy Owl, too. We're analyzing Disney movies. Fuck yes.
Fun questions. Imma sleep on it and pray that I can meander down the right roads in my long term memory to find the answers.

Another thing about Snowy Owl... oh my sweet stars above, they are adorably obsessed with owls. We had a very deep discussion about favorite owls from fiction, and I loved every second of it.
I am the nerdiest nerd to ever nerd.

There's all kinds of cool fictional owls: Hedwig, Big Mama, Archimedes, Owl from Winnie the Pooh... Snowy told me about a couple of others I hadn't known before, too.

Don't have a pick for the idol hunt yet. I'll get to that next. But first... to take my stab at the Jeopardy questions.
